i lived in this really cramped, long and narrow apartment with lots of curtains covering everything… like heavy velvet curtains of deep and faded purples. it got broken into and i brought a stranger man inside to help me check it out to make sure the perpetrator left and he did a really quick sweep and left and i was like… you forgot one room! and he goes - not my problem and leaves. so i turn back to go in again and a curtain falls open and the dead body of my friend elysha piles onto me and i remember sobbing and screaming at the same time and at some point i called my best friend adam, but not the police for some reason… and the next thing i know things are taken care of and we are sitting in garcon, my favorite french restaurant… except that it is large and underwater and everyone we were with acted as if no one died and nothing happened.
then i woke up.
I dreamt I had a fish and rat last night. My pets. And I went to go clean out their cages and they both died in my care.
I vaguely remember the fish turning into a red domino showing snake eyes… It floated to the top of the rat’s cage. And the rat ended up in the dirty fish water and he sunk to the bottom.
